On May 21, 2013 an International Education Fair was held in Minsk. The event was organized by the EU Delegation in Belarus in the framework of the Day of Europe celebration. EU educational programs in the field of education have been presented by representatives of National TEMPUS Office in Belarus (NTO Belarus); Polish and Lithuanian universities and foundations of academic exchanges; the embassies of Great Britain, Italy, Finland, France in Belarus; Bureau of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Goethe Institute, European Voluntary Service, Institute of Swedish Research, Belarusian National Information Office of the 7th Framework Program.

The event generated a lot of interest in the academic environment. Students, teachers and alumni of national universities came to get acquainted with the educational programs offered by EU to Belarusian citizens.

The event was opened by the speech of Maira Mora, the Head of the EU Delegation in Belarus. Then the fair guests were invited to visit interesting presentations, which were held in two auditoriums. In the lobby there were organized exhibition stands, where the visitors can learn more about presented at the fair educational opportunities, get information materials, ask consultants and program participants different questions.

NTO Belarus presented at the fair academic mobility program Erasmus Mundus. Opening remarks were made by the Coordinator of TEMPUS program in Belarus Nikolai Listopad. Then guests were offered two presentations: the first one was on

the possibilities of mobility for Belarusians in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus and the second presentation was aboutthe experience of student mobility at the University of Turku (BMU-MID project, Erasmus Mundus Action 2). On the stand there were presented materials about Erasmus Mundus Action 2 projects with the participation of Belarusian universities. Presentations and stand materials on Erasmus Mundus aroused great interest among the fair visitors.
